Magical Mystery Tour of the Imagination
September 18, 2006
We just came back from a tour of the south west, and what an incredible experience it was! We worked with over a thousand children in five days in five schools, covering 2,600 km's (about 1,560 miles) in the process. A BIG HELLO to all the students and staff, and I hope we see you again soon, to Esperance Primary School, Norseman Primary School, Coolgardie Primary School, St Josephs Primary School in Kalgoorlie/Boulder and St Thomas More Catholic School in Margaret River. There were so many highlights it's hard to pick just one or two, but one thing remained clear throughout the tour. Our future is in good hands, both with the school staff we met and the inspiring, talented children we met. Using the imagination is our most precious skill. Everything we see around us that doesn't exist in Nature was once just an idea, a thought in someones imagination. What was impossible just a few years ago we take for granted today. What's possible in the future is anyones guess, and you can be assured the future is being mapped out in the imagination of young people everywhere.
